Spiced Apple Cider with Brown Sugar Cardamom Whipped Cream

Spiced Apple Cider with Brown Sugar Cardamom Whipped Cream (2)

Crisp autumn nights, clear blue sky days, golden leaves- such a perfect season for gathering friends and family together.

Our favorite time of day is after dinner- sun setting over the Cascades, a bite of chill in the twilight air, the crackle of the fire in our deck wood stove, the rich scent of my husband’s pipe whispering through the air, and a mug of this cider warming my hands.

Not only a favorite of our family, and soon to be of yours, but also an incredibly easy, yet impressive, drinkable dessert for company.

Hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove bring out the tart sweet in the cider while the rich melting whipped cream creates the flavor of a drinkable apple pie.
Drizzle the whipped cream with Drunken Caramel Sauce and you have an autumn experience they’ll be talking about for days!

While cider is heating, whip cream with brown sugar and cardamom over medium high speed in mixer until stiff peaks form.
