Iced Peppermint Mocha

Iced Peppermint MochaWhen it’s 75F at 7 am, and temperature is forecast to hit 103F, hot coffee just doesn’t even sound appealing. This coming from a “not even human until the third cup” black coffee addict. This hit the spot drink was just the thing to bring functionality and joy back to my morning.

Icy cold coffee, rich cream, peppermint and chocolate?  Heaven in a jar on a hot day!

Iced Peppermint Mocha

16 oz strong brewed coffee, flavored blend if desired
1/4 cup half and half or heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
2 Tblsp peppermint syrup, or to taste

Fill a large mason jar with ice and pour in brewed coffee until approximately 3/4 full. Add cream and both syrups.
Stir well to combine.

Serves 1

Pull up a rocking chair on the porch and enjoy!
